TERMS OF SERVICE

General Information and Conditions

Hotels and resort rates are net. Taxes and service charges are already included, subject to change without prior notice.

For group (15 persons or more), rooming list is required 30 days prior the arrival, as well as arrival and departure flight details. One person is free (room only) in 1/2TWB, for every fifteen (15) full paying persons.

Manila and Provincial Tours and Transfers

Only the best private transportation will be used. For minimum of fifteen (15) full paying persons, one (1) is free. Transfer rates include guide, airport assistance on arrival, hotel and airport porterages and domestic airport taxes and terminal fees. Sightseeing tour rates include entrance fees, meals and boat ride as indicated.

International Airport departure tax is Php550.00, subject to change without prior notice.

Provincial Tours and Transfers

Where possible, air-conditioned transportation will be provided. In certain areas where air-conditioned transportation is not available, non air-conditioned cars, jeepneys or buses will be used. Our provincial guides are English speaking. Guides who can fluently speak the client's language can be provided from Manila, subject to extra charge.

Baggage Allowance

Baggage allowances per person in domestic flight are as follows:
1. Philippine Airlines - 18 kilograms (fee imposed on excess baggage).
2. Small aircraft (19 seater or less) - 10 kilograms (excess baggage is normally not accepted).

Payment

Unless special arrangements have been agreed upon for groups (10 persons or more), we require 50% deposit to confirm, and the balance to be paid by the tour leader before the group leaves Manila. For FIT (1-9 pax), we require full payment before or upon arrival in Manila.
Payment Options - Bank transfer payments should be remitted to CITIBANK NEW YORK for the account of CITIBANK MANILA Account No. 10991469 for further credit of Account No. 22543589 under the name of MARSMAN DRYSDALE TRAVEL INC. For credit card payments, we only accept American Express Card, Visa and Mastercard. All card payment transactions are subject to a 3% surcharge.

Cancellation Policy

1. For cancellation on confirmed reservations for tours and transfers, a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost incurred will be charged.

2. For hotels and resorts, cancellation fee equivalent to the rate of one (1) night multiplied by the number of rooms cancelled if:

 

2.1 Group (15 persons or more) is cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival date.
2.2 FIT passengers (1-14) are cancelled less than 7 days prior to arriv
al date.
2.3 Passenger/s not showing up on schedule date of arrival.

Liability

Marsman Drysdale Travel Inc. is only acting as intermediary for companies, hotels, restaurants and other contractors providing the services and as such is not liable for any loss, injury sustained from any cause that is due to negligence, oversight or failure to comply with conditions of these parties accidental bodily injury to any client and accidental damage to property that is caused by the negligence, oversight or failure to comply with conditions by Marsman carries a liability if claim is made before departure from the Philippines. Additional expenses due to delay, accidents, sickness, weather and strikes must be shouldered by the passengers. The company reserves the right to cancel the tour, after the programs, itineraries and accommodations reserved if called by circumstances, or in case of force majeure.

Peak Periods

In general, resorts apply peak season surcharges on:

12 - 25 April 2000 Holy Week Easter
15 December 2000 - 14 January 2001 Christmas/New year
18 - 31 January 2001 Chinese New year.

In addition to the above, the resorts also apply peak season surcharges on:

18 - 23 January 2001 Sinulog Week

August 2001 Obon Week

The resorts will require pre-payment of all bookings during these periods.

Quotations

All rates are in US dollar unless otherwise indicated. Should there be any expected changes on rates of third party services, prior advisory will be made.
