DESCRIPTION

Palawan offers a divers natural and historical attraction. Its rich terrestrial and marine life is a balance of the islands natural richness such as rivers and waterfalls, lagoons, marine and birds' sanctuaries, forests, caves, and endless white sandy beaches along its coast and many islets. In Palawan one can never run out of activities to do specially for those who really want to be closed to nature. Each of its islands is a discovery.


ITINERARY

Day 01. Manila > Puerto Princesa

Transfer to the Manila Domestic Airport for the flight PR 195 leaving at 0840H to Puerto Princesa. In Puerto Princesa transfer to Hotel Fleuris for accommodation. In the afternoon visit the city of Puerto Princesa with its typical public market, Museum, Butterfly Farm, Crocodile Farm and the country's oldest "prison without bars" - Iwahig Penal Colony. From Iwahig take motorized boat to cruise along the nearby mangrove river that opens up to Puerto Princesa Bay. Arrive by boat at Puerto Princesa wharf in time for sunset. Return to the hotel. Then, in the evening transfer to a local seafood restaurant in the city for a welcome dinner.

Day 02. Honda Bay Island Hopping

American breakfast at the resort. After breakfast, depart for a full day tour of Honda Bay to visit its numerous islands of white sand beaches, marine coral gardens and exotic birds. Honda Bay has six major islands that have shallow and gradual sloping reefs making snorkeling and diving quite an experience. Picnic on one of the islands. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 03. Puerto Princesa > Saint Paul Subterranean National Park > Panaguman Beach

American breakfast at the resort, then depart for a full day excursion to Saint Paul Subterranean National Park. On board a private van, drive to Sabang town for two hours crossing the marble cliffs of Cabayugan. In Sabang, take motorized boat to Saint Paul National Park for 20 minutes. From the lagoon take a rowboat to navigate the inner cave of the river. After the boat ride, tour and trek to the monkey trail leading to the inner part of the forest. Picnic lunch at the park. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Panaguman Beach Resort. Accommodation and dinner at Panaguman Beach Resort.

Day 04. Panaguman

American breakfast at the resort. In the morning free to enjoy bird watching at the forest behind the camp. The forest is host to wildlife endemic to the island. There are century old trees that are thickly covered with abundant wild orchids. A local guide is available for treks in the forest. Return to the resort for lunch. In the afternoon, free to enjoy the beach. Dinner and accommodation at the resort.

Day 05. Panaguman > Puerto Princesa > Manila

American breakfast at the resort. Departure by motorized boat for Sabang. In Sabang, transfer by private transportation to Puerto Princesa Airport to take PR 196 (1110H) for Manila.
