  • You are craving for the much-needed break from work and stress;
  • You are an eXXXplore veteran and couldn't resist to pass up on the latest one...
If you have selected any of the above, CAMP NORTH!, Explore2003: The north Philippines' Summer Quest is precisely, the event for you.

Since October, inquiries have been pouring in as to when the next XXXplore (XXX stand for Xperience an Xpedition to the Xtreme) will be.. We now say, April 9-12 April. Yes, mark those dates on your calendar and prepare to enjoy summer break like never before.

WHICH FITS YOUR SCHEDULE?

We're splitting EXPLORE 2003 into two parts -- both bound to the divine beaches of the North and the Summer Capital of the Philippines. Now, busy families, students and professionals who may miss out on one, may still be able to catch up on the other. (if you miss both and you see us on television or read about CAMP NORTH on the pares, please don't blame us why we didn't ask you twice...)

THE CONCEPT

Why CAMP NORTH?, you would probably ask?

We intend to reintroduce convenient backpacking among those who want to tour in a more practical and exciting fashion. It certainly is not a new concept; In fact, a trend most common among Westerners since the early 80s.

The Idea is to go places, see the sigths and commune as closely as possible to nature. You pitch your tent before dark, do outdoorsy activities, slumber on your sleeping bag, and wake up to the chirping of the birds and rising of the sun.

Many find it soothing and invigorating -- an experience that creates wonders both mentally and physically; whereas others simply appreciate its downright practicality, especially for a big group or family that seeks an experience that is both priceless and priced less.

SURREAL EXPERIENCE

Wouldn't it be refreshing to wake up hearing the water splashing by the coast? If you get tempted by the crystal blue water -- nothing and no one stops you -- do ahead, and meet the sunrise while taking a dip, or while feeling the fine sand under your feet.

The featured campsites in CAMP North! have all the facilities that will make the concepts as convenient and jazzy as it can be. The beach out front, the swimming pool on one side, the cafeteria on the other (there's even a spa and a gym within the campsite in Fort Ilocandia! or within the perimeters of Subic)...If you intend to explore a wider variety of gastronomical delights, feel free to take a few-minute drive to a restaurant of your choice.

FESTIVITIES GALORE

Caravans wouldn't be complete without the nightly fete and trade fairs where you can find the best indigenous products to bring home (abel/loomweave, pots, sericulture and woodcraft warm welcomes as you breeze through each province, and of course, the seemingly endless activity selections.

INFINITE OPTIONS FOR EVERYONE

No XXXplorer ever goes chicken so make sure you try all activities from aquasports i.e. swimming, canoeing, rafting, surfing (let's pray for powerful waves), sea donut / banana boating, jetskiing, scuba diving clinic and open-sea fishing; motoring i.e. offroading (along the famed sand dunes of the Ilocos) and all-terrain vehicle racing; to other outdoor activities i.e. horseback-riding, golf, paintball games and beach volleyball.

If this batch of XXXplorers is game enough, we can even stage an impromptu beach volleyball or a rave beach party. Your wish is our command.

PACKAGE-YOUR-OWN ADVENTURE

You have the option to bring your own vehicle, camp and prepare your own food; or go for a full package (pre-arranged hotel accommodation, meals and transportation) to be availed from our partner tour operators. As always, you have the freedom to skip one destination for another, and just meet us at the campsite (we have other suggested sites in the event collaterals to be given upon registration, for your guidance and reference.) Just think of it as a "package-your-own adventure" type of excursion -go where you want to go, when you want to go.
